Advanced Stretch/Leaps/Turns (SLT)

SLT gives dancers a focused opportunity to work on improving turns, leaps, and jumps, as well as flexibility and conditioning. 

Prerequisite: Dancers taking this class should consistently be able to complete technically correct triple pirouettes, two 8 counts of a la seconde turns, split & middle leaps, toe touches, turning discs, and calypsos. Among the skills we'll be working on in this class: quad+ pirouettes, pirouette combinations, complex a la seconde turns, switch leaps/arabesque/tilt/firebird, and multiple jump combinations.

Recommended for ages 13-16 and/or for high school junior varsity (JV) dance team members
